Air Canada's pet hotel
Air Canada Cargo has an animal hotel in Toronto for their flying animal guests. The state-of-the-art facility has eight stalls for horses and livestock and overnight kenneling for smaller animals during their layover. The facilities also have CFIA vets on hand, as well as wash bays for cleaning and disinfecting. In a normal day, they see cats going to Sydney, racing pigeons to Melbourne, RCMP dogs to Denver, swine from Paris, mini horses to London, alpacas to São Paolo, cattle to Tokyo, and turtles from Spain. Other animals include sheep, gorillas, lions, Komodo dragons and elephants. Some horses even have their own passports!
